Community Heritage Grants Scheme

Supporting communities across Perth and Kinross to conserve or enhance the historic environment.

Launched in May 2021, our Community Heritage Grant Fund has been established to support community projects that conserve or enhance the historic environment within Perth and Kinross.

The Trust will consider financial support for projects which fall into either of the following categories:

Conservation of historic buildings or monuments in Perth and Kinross that have established and generally unhindered public access;

Community based recording, research and interpretation of the historic environment in Perth and Kinross.

We recognise how difficult it can be for community groups to access funding for heritage projects, and so have designated £65,000 to support local heritage initiatives, which we hope will support at least 15 eligible projects over the next two years.

The first round of the scheme has now closed,  the application deadline for the next round is 31 July 2021.

After a period for analysis, the first grant awards will be announced on this page.

COVID-19 Operations Statement

Trust staff are largely home-working until further notice. Please note contractors/deliveries requiring access to Lower City Mills should arrange with a member of staff. We continue to deliver many of our projects and services, however, some work has been postponed or redesigned. Please ensure all enquiries are directed to staff via email as monitoring of office telephones, and mail, is reduced.

General enquiries can still be made using the Contact Us page.
